The Akamas Peninsula is a Cyprus National Park located in the north-west part of the island, between towns of Pegeia and Polis. The Sea Caves of Ayia Napa (cape Cavo Greco) is one of the most visited natural attractions on the south-eastern coast of Cyprus, located between two popular resorts - Agia Napa and Protaras. It is part of Cape Greco National Park. Locals often refer to the sea caves as 'Cavo Greco stone castles' and totally makes sense, when seen in real life.

Kolossi Castle - the former Crusader stronghold is located in the village of Kolossi. The initial construction, a fortress was built in the 13th century. The current castle was built on top of it in the 15th century. The castle belonged to the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem but in the 14th century it was overtaken by Knights Templar.

Limassol Medieval Castle in the center of Limassol old town was constructed in the 13th century and it is said to have been built on the site where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre and crowned her Queen of England in 1191. Until 1950, the castle's basement was used as a prison but has now been converted into a museum.

The church of Panagia Phorviotissa, better known as Panagia of Asinou is a small church dedicated to the Virgin of Phorbia. It contains some of the finest Byzantine wall paintings on the island, dating from the 12th to the 17th century and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The historic Holy Monastery of Stavrovouni, also known as the Monastery of the Precious and Life-giving Cross was established during the fourth century. It is situated on the beautiful peak of Mount Stavrovouni in the district of Larnaca and is considered to be one of the oldest monasteries on the globe. It is most certainly the oldest in Cyprus.
