On the East coast of Cyprus in Agia Napa, there is a beach that simply has to be on your list if you are visiting. Regardless your age, this wonderful place with crystal clear blue waters and white sand will make your day.

The spectacular Nissi Beach is a Blue Flag Beach. Its shallow waters allow you to walk to the small islet next to it. That is where the name derives from - Greek word 'Νησί' (island). The water here is so clear and the colours of the water are simply magnificent.

The Nissi Beach is one of the most famous destinations on the island and has become a very popular attraction for younger crowds for its saturated nightlife. There is an almost endless choice of places to eat and drink or try different water sports at the resort during the day and even bigger choice of party places during the night.

There are all amenities available to spend a day on a wonderful beach - toilets, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities, whilst there a variety of accommodation restaurants and kiosks in the area.

Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach:

April, May, September and October: 09:00 - 17:00

June, July and August: 10:00 - 18:00.

Easy access by foot, bike or car, and extensive car-parking facilities are also available.

Some of the other beach alternatives in the area: Makronissos Beach and Konnos Beach.
