Zayaa Mud MosqueSouth of Bolgatanga in the village of Wulugu stands the Zayaa Mosque. It is made of mud but built in a completely different style than any other mud mosque in the region. It is square with a number of levels and looks more like an ancient defence castle than a place of worship. It was built in the 20th century by Sheik Abdul-Karim. |
